A "free land" house paid back through leaseback in 5 years is a type of property investment in which an investor purchases a house built on top of a piece of land, through a superficies contract, 30 years. The landowner then can agree to lease back from the investor for a period of 5 years, if the investor want to, or he can choose to rent out by himself. During this time, the landowner and the investor share the revenue from rent, and at the end of the 5-year period, the investor recoups their investment.
